NERC CIP

NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection(CIP)-001 is one of 14 standards
set by the North Amerian Electric Reliability Corporation(NERC) to
ensure the reliability and security of the Bulk Electric System.
NERC has regulatory authority over power utilities operating on the Bulk
Power System in the Unit States, Canada, and regions of Mexico.
The purpose of CIP-001 is to ensure all disturbances and unusual
occurrences are reported appropriately.
